taking so long to sync and or get the msg's

takes for ever to download msg's ... always "snyc" headers.. and then if
there are any "pictures" in the msg's even longer to download and display..
 
Version of Outlook?
Type of email account?
Speed of connection to mail server?
Any firewall or antivirus scanning email?
