Hi-

Does anyone know how I can take an Excel Spreadsheet embedded in a
powerpoint slide and put it back into excel? I don't just want to copy and
paste - I want to keep every bit of information exactly. Thanks!

Dan,

You need to be able to actually Open it rather than it go into Edit mode.

Right click on it | Worksheet Object | Open... File | Save Copy As...

That should open it within Excel so you can save it as something else.

The best bet on doing this would be to right click on the excel spread sheet
and open the object. Then from within excel, save it to a file.

It is possible that not all the information was placed into the object you
see on the screen, so you may not be able to get everything that was in the
original.
