Tabular Form and Text box

I want to add a textbox at the end of a tabular form to add up the total of
all the items. However, I don't know how to do this. I drag down the
detail section to add the text box, then I went back to the view mode. The
text box I just added is in every item of this tabular form. In other words,
I got a lot more text box then I bargain for. I just want it at the end of
the form. Please help!

Another thing. What if I want to add a text box after a certain items in a
tabular from and sum up the total cost of the items above it. How do I add
such a text box? And what is the code to add on the items above this text
box?
