I have learned how to put the tab on the form ... but im reading alot on here
about adding controls to the tab?? what does that mean?

I want to make a form (access 2007) and have 3 sperate pages on the form
(i.e. one page for general info , 2nd page for contact info, 3rd page for
ceritfications...) im wondering how do i make it change "pages"

Blueliner975,
about adding controls to the tab?? what does that mean?
A tab is used specifically to contain/display controls, where there
is not enough room for more controls on the "main" form.
A form with tab pages could display any number of controls.

A "tab control" can have as many "tab pages" as you need, and
as many controls on each tab page as can fit.
Right click on the tab in design view, and see the right-click
menu options you have for adding pages, deleting pages... etc.

When placing control/s (text controls, subforms, etc...) on a tab page,
make sure the specific tab page is "selected" in design mode. Then... drag,
or cut & paste, the control/s you need onto the selected tab page..
If the tab page is not "selected" when you place a control, it will
actually
end up being placed on the Main form, and... that control will show through
every page on the tab.

the tab information was very helpful... however... i am kinda confused as to
access 2007's definition of conrtol? is a "control" the data that is inputed
into the sheet?

No, a control is a "thing" on the form: a text box (into which you can type
values), a combo or list box (from which you can select one or more values),
a check box or radio button (which you either select or deselect), etc.
