Have a page with table,split into three columns.Left column picture center is text and right is picture
when i minimize it the text goes wacky,how can i just let the page minmize without the text trying to stay in the middle

that's usually what you want to happen...the middle column of text to collapse so that viewers with low res don't have to scroll left - right.

it's considered a little ham handed or gosh, but I'll usually just smack a
transparent .gif picture at the top or bottom of the table if I don't want
to set the size in absolute pixels.
If you know the minimum size you want your middle table to "squish" down to
let me know and I'll give you one of these "shims".
