table of contents not in order

I created a navigation structure for my site. It is in the
order I want. I then created a Table of Contents based on
the navigation structure ( I thought!). But the order of
the pages is all wrong. How can I get the TOC to match my
navigation structure? Thank you for the tips.

The TOC will use the nav view But insert other pages based on links starting w/ your home page

I'm still stuck. Let me explain further. I have 20 pages
on my site. All are labeled (page).dwt as they are dynamic
web templates. The only exception is index.htm

1) I opened up a page and then viewed it on a browser,
noting that the table of contents order was wrong (not
matching my navigation structure)

2) I copied the html into Word and revised it to match my
navigation structure

3) I then deleted the offending webbot on a website page
and pasted in the corrected webbot. Looked at it in the
browser and it looked perfect now -- corrected! Great! So
far so good BUT...

4) no matter how many pages I correct, I eventually try
to "save". A window pops up and says (I'm paraphrasing) "A
more recent version of this page was saved to your server
(5 minutes ago) Do you want to replace it?" If I say yes,
it saves, but erases all of the changes I just made. UGH!
If I say no, the "save as" window pops up for some reason
which is forcing me to save again. I am stuck.

What do I do? Thank you for any help you can give me!

You should only have a single .dwt to file that you apply to all of your pages .htm(l) pages, and
then when you make a change the .dwt file it will update all files that the .dwt is attached to. A
DWT is use to control the overall design of a web / site.

In the DWT you would assign editable regions which allows you to have page specific content on each
of your pages which would not be altered when the .dwt is modified or removed from the page.

PS
For more on Dynamic web Templates See

Also Do not work in your pages in any other editor (Word) or you will corrupt the web design tools in the FP site
