table of contents (again...)

I've got a document template that uses Heading 1-4 for "general" headings,
with Heading 7 being used as the Appendix heading (I've modified it the same
as something else on this community to prefix the page number with the
Appendix heading e.g. A-1)

When I create a TOC, I use {TOC \o "1-7" \t "Heading 1,1"}. Obviously this
will include Heading 4-6. I'd rather not include these, as they're a bit too
detailed for the TOC, and are covered by Level 3. I know how to stop it
showing the page numbers for 4-6, but not how to prevent Level 4-6 being
shown in the TOC. Any idea how I can do this?

Thanks,
Ian

You'll need to either clear the undesired styles in the TOC Options dialog
or edit the TOC field directly; see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/TOCSwitches.htm
