table & cell help

Hi all,
I am just working on the finishing touches of my site and am having problems
with certain tables. For example, I have a table of 4 rows and 6 columns and
the 1st column is the widest, the others show to be aligned exaclty the same
width on the grid, but when I preview in browser some are much bigger than
others. How do I correct this? Thanks in advance for your tips!
