Table Captions

Hi,

I use the caption options in Word to give automatic Captions to my Tables
like Table 1.1 etc. Somehow I seem to have accidentally converted this to
"full caption".

So each cross-ref in the document now reads Table 1.1 A Long Table Heading
etc.

Is there any way to toggle them all at once?

Thanks!

Word cross-references depend on hidden bookmarks, applied to the
cross-referenced paragraphs. What you are describing is probably the result
of adding new paragraphs of text by pressing Enter at the beginning of a
cross-referenced paragraph; this expands the hidden bookmark to include the
added text.

To avoid this problem in the future, be sure to add new paragraphs by
pressing Enter *at the end* of an existing paragraph instead.

The best way to fix the issue depends on the number of cross-references. If
there are not so many cross-references, you can reinsert them (post back for
the exact steps, making sure to tell me your version of Word).

Alternatively, just recreate the cross-references, via the Cross-reference
dialog box.
