Tabbed form- command buttons

Hi. I have a form that has 3 tabs. When I add command
buttons, I can't quite figure out why some of them appear
on all 3 tabs, and some appear only on the 1st tab. Could
you explain why?

How can I consistenly create command buttons that appear
on all of the tab screens?

Buttons placed in the form header or footer appear on all tabbed pages. They
should only appear where specifically placed if they're in the Detail section.

Thanks. That's what I thought, only some of my command
buttons in the 1st tab detail section also appear on all
the tab detail section... Guess I'll keep experimenting!
