In Windows XP Excel, when I press TAB on the keyboard,
for example, the cursor moves from cell A1 to cell P1.

How do I correct this so the cursor moves the correct
amount of cell(s) when pressing TAB?

Tools | Options | Transition | Settings | Transition Navigation Keys

Clear the checkbox.
