tab key moves 16 cells

Suddenly, when I try moving around in Excel, the TAB key is moving me 16
cells to the right. I need to go one cell to the right. Why this new
movement? How do I fix it?

Go to Tools > Options, click on the Transition tab, and
uncheck the box "Transition navigation keys".
