sytem repair xp

I am trying to use the system repair in WIN XP, have
installed disk have got to the 3 options, have typed R,i
then choose 1 (1:cwindows) and then get ask for my
addministators password which i type in and i get a
message back to say its invalid, this is the password i
type all the time to change or alter accounts on my com
so why wont it accept it?

Hi

On which setup screen have you pressed 'R'? If the first one, then you need to press Enter at that stage, accept the license and then press 'R' after the setup program shows a list of current installations.
