Systray device removal question

I've just put together a new box, FX-55 with a dual SATA Raptor RAID0 array
and a third SATA drive for storage. Installation of XP SP2 went normally,
with XP loading the NVidia RAID drivers from floppy, but here's the thing.
Down in the system tray, there always appears a "Safely Remove Hardware"
icon with all three internal HDD's listed as removable devices. I can't get
rid of it. Why is this showing up? Is there a way to remove this from the
tray? None are removable devices. I've put together many systems over the
years, this is the first SATA RAID one I've done.

It starts appearing when you have removable devices like USB memory keys
etc. Somewhere it seems your drives have been setup as removable, check
through the drive properties and remove the 'removable' if set, and check
the controller card options.

SATA drives count as removeable - can't remember why but it has appeared here
before!
