Systray clock w/day?

After the last round of MS updates, my taskbar reverted to the XP style from
Classic upon rebooting. Running CCleaner and clearing the Temp files, my
appearance settings were restored, however, I now have the day, i.e. Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday, etc., displayed beneath the time. This is not a
problem, in fact, I rather like it. I just can't find anything within
Windows that offers this option, nothing in Google Groups or NG's, other
than the capabilities of third party software. I have not downloaded any
'clock' programs and made no other changes except for the latest MS updates.
Anybody experience this or have a clue?

Well, duh. I enlarged the icons in the Quick Launch area and that made the
toolbar wider, hence, the date. Thanks, MP!

Stretch the taskbar to 3 high and you'll get the date also...

Thanks, Ad'.............I did do that, out of curiosity, after I got clued
in on the 'day'............it is bad enough being old and senile, but, add
stupidity to it and it's really rough. I even searched the Net and
Groups!!! I had just done my MS Updates (forgot about making the QL icons
larger) and noticed I had the 'day'........didn't equate the icon
thing....double duh.
