When I start to run an application, it gave me an error " unable to access
to system registry" . Can anyone help? Thanks.

What program? Did it do anything else unexpected? Do you have any
security/virus protection programs running? Are you logged on as
administer.

As Doug would say:

The name of the application would be helpful. Also, are you running it
from an Administrator level account? Some programs require write
privileges that a limited user does not have.
