Systems Registry Problem

A few days ago I started receiving a windows mesage during boot-up that said
"One of the files containing the systems Registry data had to be recovered by
use of a log or alternate copy. The recovery was successful".....I get this
message everytime I boot the computer up. Also, when I go to Start then All
Programs, it does not list my programs. Also having little issues here and
there. I've downloaded Adaware and a Registry Cleanup program...but still
receive the same windows error message. Has anyone else encountered
this...if so, what did you do to fix it.

Your registry is being corrupted on a regular basis.
Have you run anit-virus and anti-malware/anti-spyware apps?
It's more likely that your hard drive is developing some problems.
Check the hdd manufacturer's website for any diagnostic tools.
You can also run chdsk from a command line:
chkdsk C: /r
It'll most likely require a reboot, so the operation can be carried out
during the boot proccess.
