System32 Opens

Each time a log onto my computer the system32 window opens up. I have read
the information on this page:

However it has not solved my problem. Any help will be appreciated.

System32 on desktop
Visit http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm and scroll down
to Item No. 260. In the right column, click on "System32 Folder Opens
Upon Boot". Download this repair file and then run the repair.

i did what you said but after downloading the file i got an error message
saying the registry value was not found.

Then I don't know what else to do.

You may have Trojan-Spy.HTML.Smitfraud.c malware infection (even if it
is not showing in your current antivirus/antispyware programs).

You'll need the Smitfraud removal tool available here:
http://noahdfear.geekstogo.com/

and Edwido available here:

http://www.ewido.net/en/

Run Smitfraud and boot back into Safemode and run Edwido.

Worked for me.
