just assembled a new system comprised of intel d875pbzlk
Mother Board, p4 2.8 processor, 2 pieces 512mb 3200mhz ddr
ram , quadro 4 750xgl video card and two WD 10,000rpm
serial ata 36g hard drives set at raid 0, and Windows 2000
pro sp4. worked great for a couple of days then wouldn't
boot. said the following file is missing or corrupt:
\system32\ntoskrnl.exe. I did a fast repair and was up
and running until I shut down, then the same error at next
boot. I had applied all window 2000 updates. Noticed
that intel has a bios update but not sure that is
something i want or need to do. Windows 2000 also had a
patch listed but looked over my head to install and not
sure it is necessary. Any idea what might be happening?
What I should do?

Had exactly the same problem with one of my sys, couldnt work out why. In
the end copyed the file to root as well as sys32 folder. It then seemed to
stick.
However shortly after my hd died. A precursor?
IF WD has a hd checking utility I strongly advise you to use it!
