system32 file lost

When I re-start my comp. I get a message that says
C:/Windows/System32/cmd32.exe can not be located. I
don't know if I have accidentally deleted this file
somehow. Does anyone know how to correct this? I do not
have my installation disc with me. I have tried to
restore my computer but I receive an error that a restore
can not be completed. Thanks!

Sounds like you may have had a virus..

If you don't have a good virus scanner:

or

You may want to look over the whole page.

Either way - you probably will have to restore using an OS CD.
