Just curious if anyone has a clue why my system tray has disappeared?
And/or if there is a place to turn this on/off

I will try the later when I get to the house, but yes the only thing
showing is the clock

In that case the Tray is there (if it weren't, you wouldn't see the clock)
and you've lost the icons, not the tray itself. One of the links below
should help, then.
