After trying to automatically updaye AOL Instant Messenger
(AIM)I received an error message and ever since have not
been able to either access the new or old AIM.

Ihave attempted to unistall both old and new AIMs but now
cannot do the former because I keep being told that AIM is
running and that I should disable through the System intray

Unfortunately there is no icon for AIM in the system intray
so cannot do that!

I have tried to download a new AIM and succeeded but again
when I try to install, I am told that ASIM is running and
that I should exit AIM.

Can anyone help me Please, please
