System Tray not loading

My system tray icons no longer load regularly. Sometimes they all show up
but most of the time the only icon that shows up in the tray(other than the
time) is Mcafee Security Center. I really have no idea what could have
caused this and no idea how to fix it short of reinstalling Windows again.
Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

it seems to happen to me as well with fairly high regularity. sometine only
one is gone but more often a number are gone. rebooting solve s the problem
temporarily but still keeps happening.

the good news is that those programs that do not show in the system tray
appear to be still running and active in the task manager

It happens to me almost everytime and it seems to get worse the more I use my computer. The only problem is I really use the tray icons alot, I have a laptop and I use it for power monitoring. Thanks for the input.

Ok, my workaround for this problem is:

Row 53 - Remove past items...

This clears the problem without logging off and all icons appear in the
systray. Quick and simple.
