System Tray is closing unexpectedly - HELP

My system tray is closing/disappearing unexpectedly.Is there a fix for this
or do I have some sort of virus?

Right-click on a blank/empty area of your taskbar | Properties | Hide
inactive icons (uncheck or CUSTOMIZE as desired).
 
I've done exactly that. The problem is that the ENTIRE System Tray closes
unexpectedly. The only way I can correct it is to do a Ctrl/Alt/Delete to
shut-down and restart. They come back for awhile and then disappear again!
