Hi,
I have a problem with System Standby in My windowsXP PC.
When i try to put the system into standby i get the
following message.
"The device driver for the 'Generic volume' device is
preventing the machine from entering standby. Please close
all applications and try again. If the problem persists,
you may need to update this driver."
I tried rolling back the driver for the Hard Disk but it
did not fix the problem. Sometimes the PC even hangs when
i try to go into standby. Even hibernate does not work. I
would be gratefull for any advice.
Thanks.
