I installed a dvd drive on my dell pc and i would like to know what i need to
do in the system set up to make the drive recognized, I mistaknely thought
the wizzard would take care of everything but when i put a dvd in i got a
fatal system error that shut the drive down, I have the dvd drive running on
the same ide cable as the cd drive,because the cable that came with the new
drive has too many pins and will not fit on the interface connector, could
this be interfering somehow? Any advice is greatly appreciated
