SYSTEM RUNNING VERY SLOW

I JUST RESTORED MY SYSTEM - XP PROFESSIONAL. THE COMPUTER
IS RUNNING SO SLOW THAT IT CONTINUALLY LOCKS UP. HOW DO I
TROUBLESHOOT TO SEE IF I HAVE A HARDWARE PROBLEM? THE
COMPUTER SHOULD HAVE BEEN SET BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL STATE.

It could be your defective keyboard that is causing the problem.

(I assume the keyboard is defective because the caps lock key is
stuck).
