System Restore

I have lost the ability to use system restore. After I
try it tells me that the restoration is incomplete. Now I
can't get back to my current configuration. I'm clean of
any virus and have run the fix for the KWbot virus.

Any ideas?

Your restore folders are corrupted, shut off system
restore then reboot then turn system restore back on and
create a new checkpoint.
