Reboot into SAFE MODE (F8).
Open XP's System Restore program and select a Restore
Point that
was created prior to your problem becoming known.
[Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System
Restore]

| Last night I installed an update to the XP system. This
| morning my PC begins the install process then
| automatically shuts down and begins the reboot process
| again. I cannot get into safe mode at all. Purchased PC
| with XP on it and I don't have the setup disks.
Downloaded
| the floppy setup. Will this help?? Any suggestions? It
| appears to me that I have a driver installed that XP
| doesn't like...how do I go about determining this
driver???
