system restore

hi
after a recent blue death screen[through my own silly fault] I could
not get back to system restore.Also the six floppies that I made from
installing XP Pro did not work.
In the end I restored XP without formatting,luckily,but I wonder why I
could not get into Sys.Restore or why the floppies did not work.Thanks

Dependent on the BSOD, SR could have been corrupted and would have needed to
be reinstalled. Any error messages when trying to use the 6 floppies?

Thanks no re.floppies,they just would not register from the floppy
drive.I did change the boot up from CD rom to floppy as first boot and
it did not work.I changed it back and re-installed on top of my
existing files and it all worked except I had to re-install SP2.Just
wondered why I wasted my time doing those floppies.No more.Thanks
again.
