System Restore

I have a new computer with Vista Ultimate on it. My problem is when I click
on the system restore button under Accessories/System Tools nothing seems to
happen. After a minute or so I repeat only to be told that System Restore
is already running. Except no window opens. I again wait a minute or so
and repeat to be told the same thing but then the restore window will
finally open. Am I the only one with this problem or is this another of
Windows Vista's many faults?

Hi,

It's a fault, but not one I've seen before. Something is interfering with
it, has it always been this way? Like, since out of the box? What antivirus
application are you using?

As far as I know yes. Brand new computer and it came with McAfee installed
for 3 years.
Maybe I'll disable McAfee temp. and try it again to see if that is the
problem. Everything else was installed on my XP media computer and I
didn't have this problem.
