System Restore

This has been and still is switched on, but when I call it the dialog is
empty (white background) with only the title bar. Is there a way of fixing
it without have to switch off SR and then on again, thus losing my restor
points?

Thnks Bert,

I got an error on the third item though so no fixed. The error is

from RegSrv32

mshtml was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found.
mshtml does not appear to be a .dll or .ocx file.

Any thought?

Just say also that I am using Zone Alarm 6.5 and IE7 beta

Hi,

IE7 could be the cause. The final version of IE7 is now out.
Internet Explorer 7: Home
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx

Read the installation instructions for installing over the beta version. The
beta version may need to uninstalled first.

Hi Bert

You were correct. Before I saw your reply I suspected it because of the
version details of the mshtml.dll file. After I removed it the SR dialog
came to life and I could go back ... to where IE7 was installed. Now I am
stable again I am in two minds whether to install the final version.

Thanks for the feedback Julian.

In my case I use Firefox and will not be upgrading IE.
