System Restore

I have 3 hard drives, C, D & E, all active, C drive according to drive
management is the system drive which is also the boot drive. However, when I
looked at system restore, it was only showing drives D & E, claiming drive D
was the system drive. I temporarily disabled drive D through hardware device
manager, rebooted the computer and drives C & E now showed in system restore,
drive C being showed according to system restore, as the system drive. Good.
Re enabled drive D through device manager, re booted BUT, system restore
again showed drive D & E only, drive D claiming it was the system drive.
???????<. Suggestions????

Hi Jeff,

It sounds like the drive letter assignment was not updated in the
drivetable.txt file, used by System Restore. MVP Ramesh Srinivasan has
come up with two solutions which you will find in the following article.

Drive letter missing in System Restore settings page?
