system restore

had probs with system slowing down,repaired registery and did virus scan.they
were all clear.probs started 26/4/06.tried to run system restore but it want
let me restore any further back in time than 26/04/06.i have used the help
topics and they say you can change the date on the calendar by clicking on
the arrows either side.i keep trying this but it will not let me .the only
dates which are highlighted are the 26th 27th and 28th of april.any help
would be really appreciated.

Any Norton 2006 applications installed lately?

,repaired registery and did virus

The calendar will only change months when restore points are available
for that month.
