system restore

when i did sys restore, all programs on desktop were there except two. i
couldn.t find them so i reverted back to present state. do i need to
reinstall? shouldn't they all be there?

How far back was the restore point that you selected?

When did you install those two "missing" applications?

If, for example, you chose a restore point from Jan 10th and those two
applications were installed on Jan 12th then they would not be on the
desktop.

Hi,

The best practice it to first uninstall any application that were
installed after the restore point being reverted back to. Then reinstall
the applications after restoring the system.
