system restore

norton removed downloader trojan,afterward, i went into sr, i can get to sr
but the calendar will not let me select date to restore to,no bold dates
except todays,

Sadly, that means there are no other restore points.
 
...heck no,are you suggesting that because of the virus removal,i will never
be able to restore to an earlier point?
 
...what i'm inquiring about ,is this a normal sr function??,and will i ever be
able to restore??
 
You should be deleting all Restore Points by turning off System Restore
and then turning it back on. Old restore points have the potential to
put the trojan back on your computer.

This should not affect the ability of the system to generate new restore
points.

If all is working, you should see that you have a new restore sometime
since your first post on this issue.
