System Restore

I have windows XP home edition and my system restore no
longer works. I can access system restore, I can go
through the entire system restore process but when I log
on it says "no changes were made....". I've tried several
different restore dates within different months.

Can you tell me how to fix this?

I too am with this problem. It is virus not identific.And I not know that do. The Norton not do update.And not identific nothing. Ah, I dont know english well. Escuse me. But You can answer in english. OK

Lisa:
There may be corrupted data in system Restore.
Turn off/on System Restore to delete corrupted files:
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore.
Click System Restore Settings on left side.
Check "Turn off System Restore", click OK, follow prompts and reboot.
This deletes ALL Restore Points including corruption.
Then go back and turn on system Restore and create a Restore Point.
