I went to system restore earlier tonight, as I have done
in the past. Tonight it will not work. I checked to make
sure the system was turned on. I tried a number of dates,
different months, it will not work for me. It says Will
not restore, I had some updates today and wondering if
that could be problem ?

Ric;
There may be corrupted data in system Restore.
Turn off/on System Restore to delete corrupted files:
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore.
Click System Restore Settings on left side.
Check "Turn off System Restore", click OK, follow prompts and reboot.
This deletes ALL Restore Points including corruption.
Then go back and turn on system Restore and create a Restore Point.
