System Restore Tab still has access problem (multi-disk problem?) srrstr.dll error

Note: I've exported the System Restore data from the Reg (below...)Thought
I had this cleared up. Removed 2nd disk from system I use as a
backup HD and the srrstr.dll problem
returned once the Disable System Restore check box was unchecked and apply
was hit.
Here is the interesting part (Assuming I correctly remember it, I'm close
anyway)...
Once that happened realized what I'd changed was to my knowledge removing a
disk (the disk has two NTFS partitions)
That disk was only temporarily hooked up so I could copy files to and from
for backup while trying to move/recover the OSS
from my original (good) 40Gb XP home boot drive which was kept as a spare
when I moved to a 120Gb.

Adding the disk back in seemed to affect using the tab (seems you can get to
it if DisableSr is ==1 in Registry)
But on adding the disk with 2 partitions it seemed to allow me to use it
(uncheck disable restore on the tab) one time
and see the 3 logical drives being monitored or not monitored inddividually.
But then on reboot the next time I toyed with that checkbox
Message comes up: Unchecking it and says: "System Restore encountered an
error trying to enable/disable one or more drives. Please restart your
machine and try again."

So it appears the previous problem I posted is still occuring and that upon
setting DisableSr in the registry I can get to the tab until I uncheck
disable on the System Restore Tab.
