System Restore shows blank

I recently tried to restore my computer 2 times in one day, after the second
restoration, I noticed that games and some pictures that were on my computer
was removed, I then tried to restore it to a more recent date, but system
restore does not show me the Welcome screen, I just get a blank page with a
blank box on the upper left corner. Please advise.

you might simply need
to perform a "repair
installation" using your
windows setup cd instead
of restore.

the repair method will
also delete any old/out
dated restore points and
create a brand new after
the "repair" repairs your
o.s.

perhaps, the game is
corrupted and caused
an array of system files
to become corrupted.

You can undo the restoration Point and then tell us why you are restoring?
