System Restore & Loss of Data

When I powered on my machine this morning, I got disk space errors and when
Windows XP finally loaded, everything in My Documents was erased along with
all of my profile settings. None of my MS programs will run. The System
Restore checkpoints were erased, too.

Is there anyway that I can get my system back to the point it was at Sunday
evening or perhaps an earlier day?

Only if you backed up your hard disk on Sunday evening and stored it
somewhere other than your computer. (For example, on DVDs or an external
hard disk.)

Post back with the exact wording of the error messages to see if your
data might be salvageable.
