System Restore is not monitoring "C" drive, only "D"

I need to perform a system restore, but every date I click on shows that the
C drive was not included in the last system check. How do I get it to
monitor both drives? (in other words, how do I add C to the monitored list)?
I'm using XP Pro, and none of the kb articles or suggestions offer any help.

Open the Help and Support Center and see this article: To resume System Restore monitoring

Problem is, in the system restore section, I have no option to choose drives
to monitor, it just shows that it is monitoring D, without providing any way
to select or add drives to monitor

Drive letter missing in System Restore settings page?:

Hi Ramesh,

I see that your theory with deleting the dirivetable.txt file has been
confirmed. Nice work!!!

Thanks, Bert. So there is no need to wait for another victim now :-)
