System restore has stopped creating restore points

Hi Folks,

I've noticed that my Windows XP Pro SP2 system has suddenly stoped creating
system restore points on it's own . However, I can still create restore
points manually .
Does anyone know how I can trouble-shoot and correct this problem ?

Highlight My Computer > rt-click > properties > System restore and uncheck
the box "Turn off system restore.

Turning System Restore off will result in no more than deleting all
available restore points. Turning System Restore is not the first step in
troubleshooting System Restore problems.

You read it wrong - I sait to uncheck the box that turned off system
restore.
