System Restore and Microsoft Updates

John

If one uses System Restore to turn back a computer to an earlier state, are
the Microsoft Updates that were previously downloaded and installed (after
the earlier Restore point) lost as well? If so, can those specific lost
updates be downloaded/reinstalled?

Thanks,

John

If you revert back using system restore then Yes any updates you installed
prior to you using system restore will be removed; however, because they
have been removed Windows Updates should automatically offer them again so
they can be re-installed.
