System Rescue CD 0.2.9

About:
SystemRescueCd is a Linux system available from a bootable CDROM that
provides an easy way to perform administrative tasks on your computer,
such as creating and editing the partitions of the hard disk or backing up
data. It contains a lot of system utilities (such as parted, partimage,
and fstools), and basic programs (such as editors, midnight commander, and
network tools). It also includes QtParted, a Partition Magic clone that
makes editing partitons easy with its Qt graphical user interface. This
CDROM aims to be very easy to use and accessible to everybody.

Changes:
This release updates the kernel to 2.4.23, adds several floppy disk images
that allow you to run FreeDOS, Memtest, and Gag, adds LDE (Linux Disk
Editor) and ms-sys (like the DOS "sys" command), and updates Samba to
3.0.1, QtParted to 0.4.1, and partimage to 0.6.3_beta14, among many other
programs.
