system registration

system registration. How do I change the name to whom
the system is registered? i.e. Control panel, system,
general. I want to change the name.

Click Start button, click Run, type: regedit
Click the OK button. When the Registry Editor opens navigate to, and then
click on, the key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion

Look in the right pane for the string: Registered Owner. Right click it,
then left click: Modify
When the Edit String dialog box opens, change the Value Data to the new
name, then click the OK button.
Then exit the Registry Editor and reboot your system.
