System Recovery for Norhgate (OEM out of business)

Hi Folks,

My Northgate Computer came with Windows XP preinstalled in a hidden
partition (November 2004). No installation disks. This partition was
corrupted, I can't get the system restore to work and I can't install from CD
..... Microsoft says the OEM is responsible for XP support, but Northgate has
been out of business for quiet a while.

Any ideas on how I could get XP back on my machine? Where could I find a
system restore CD for Northgate?

System restore - unlikely..
Windows XP Installation media - maybe.

Any Generic OEM copy combined with your CD Key (likely stuck on the machine
somewhere - or you have it safely tucked away, right? Or you can recover it
from the system, if it boots - easily enough) will work fine to reinstall
windows.
