system recover

I am having the same problem, I feel like I have a trojan
loaded somewhere on my xp machine. I want to recover back
about a month and it will not do it. What can I do? I
don't want to completly format the whole disk and load
all the dell programs back.

Are you using system restore to try and recover? What kind of errors are
you getting? Be aware that doing a restore may not remove the trojan
altogether, it depends on where it is loading from. Have you run a virus
check on the machine?
