Hi,
I am looking at buying a new system and money is no object, so I have
decided on the following 3 configurations CPU's

1. Dual-Core Intel Xeon Processor at 2.80GHz with 2x2MB L2 Cache

2. Intel Xeon Processor 3.80GHz 800MHz 2MB Intel EM64T

3. Intel Pentium R D950 with Dual Core Processor 3.4GHz 2X2MB L2 Cache
800MHz FSB 945P Chipset

Just wondering which one is the best, I'm a bit behind on the new
technology.

Will all these configuration be able to run 32-bit and 64-bit Operating
Systems?

Cheers

Some say the server boards with 2 processors run quicker than desktop, others
say the opposite.64 bit is fairly new, youre limited with software
installations,
although 64 is the future...One big item, what type of storage is planned,if
its
IDE drives youre wasting youre time, with RAID (most all servers run),figure
out what controllers are available,RAID 0 1 5 or 10...This is the key to a
premium board.
