System Partition

Is there a way to link folders (I.E. - Program Files, Documents and Settings) to a folder in another partiton? I have both NT5.0 and NT 5.1 computers that the system partition is getting full and I do not want to have to reinstall after changing partition size. I have the 5.0 system partion @ 7.79GB with 3GB left; the 5.1 system partion @7.81GB with 3.5GB. Every program I could install on another partition I did, but these partitions are filling fast. If I could move these two files effectively to a different partion on the same harddrive I would gain about 2GB each computer. Is this possible
I want to maintain as small a partion as possible - any ideas, suggestions would be appreciated, thank-you

In view of the incredibly low prices for hard disks, I would purchase a 40
or an 80 GByte hard disk
and use a partition copy program such as Acronis TrueImage to copy the
partitions across to the new disk. This would solve your problem for a few
years, and it would entail zero risk for your installation and data. You
probably need a partitioning program at the same time, e.g. Acronis
PartitionExpert. DriveImage and PartitionMagic are two other programs you
could use to achieve the same thing.

Thanks, sorry it took so lnong to reply. The total storage
size isn't much of an issue with the 5.1 system - a
desktop with two 100 GB drives - I had set the system
partion too small, thinking almost 8GB would be enough,
and the Master drive hasn't got alot of room, but I can
double the sys-part anyway. Your suggestion to use Acronis
TrueImage was excellent, I can work with that.
However, the 5.0 system is a laptop with limited
resources. Haven't really looked into a harddrive upgrade
but I am pretty sure an upgrade from 30GB won't be cheap,
if it is possible. (2 year old Sony VAIO, 505 series) Is
there a way to, in effect, re-direct the program files
folder to another partion. Please advise...
